RailTel Corporation of India has announced the cancellation of a significant work order from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, valued at ₹17,12,80,662, including taxes. The cancellation comes as a result of unavoidable administrative circumstances on the part of the customer.
The original work order, which was communicated in a letter dated January 29, 2025, involved the procurement and maintenance of IT infrastructure projects. This development marks a setback for RailTel, which had been poised to undertake the substantial project.
The cancellation was disclosed in accordance with Regulation 30, read with Part A (B) of Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. RailTel has advised stakeholders to take note of this update.
