Aerolloy Technologies Limited, a subsidiary of PTC Industries Limited, has successfully completed the installation and trials of its 4500/5100 Tonne Intelligent Open Die Forging System at the Strategic Materials Technology Complex in Lucknow. This development marks a significant expansion in Aerolloy’s manufacturing capabilities, enabling the production of critical components for next-generation aeroengines, defence platforms, space systems, and industrial gas turbines. The new forging system is designed to work with Titanium, Superalloys, and a range of high-performance alloys, positioning Aerolloy as a key player in the aerospace manufacturing sector.
The installation of this system represents a major leap in India’s indigenous aerospace manufacturing capabilities, allowing for the open die forging of Titanium and Superalloys at a scale that few companies globally can match. This achievement completes a comprehensive manufacturing ecosystem for Aerolloy and PTC, integrating melting, casting, and forging processes under one roof.
Mr. Sachin Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of PTC Industries, highlighted the strategic importance of this development, stating that it not only strengthens Aerolloy’s position in the global aerospace supply chain but also reduces India’s reliance on imported aerospace-grade forgings.
