Piramal Enterprises targets Rs 1.5 lakh crore AUM by FY28

Piramal Enterprises is set to expand its retail lending business, aiming for a total AUM of Rs 1.5 lakh crore by FY28. Chairman Ajay Piramal shared this ambitious goal during the company’s 77th AGM on July 8.

The company has already achieved significant growth in its retail AUM, surpassing Rs 50,000 crore. This success is driven by strong performance in metro-adjacent areas and Tier II and III locations.

Ajay Piramal emphasized the company’s strategy to enhance its presence in these cities with a multi-product branch network. “With optimized operating expenses, our growth business is poised to deliver healthy operating profits,” he told investors.
