Nykaa’s CFO Arvind Agrawal resigns

On November 25, Nykaa informed stock exchanges that Agrawal would be leaving the organisation and resigning from his position.

Arvind Agarwal, the chief financial officer (CFO) of FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd, the company that owns the beauty e-retailer Nykaa, resigned from his position on November 22.

On November 25, Nykaa informed the stock exchanges that Agarwal would leave the company and leave his position. He also stated that he would “pursue other opportunities in the digital economy and start-up space.”

The regulatory filing also stated that the company was hiring a new CFO.

Agarwal left Nykaa more than two years after he first joined. In July 2020, he was hired to serve as the company’s CFO.

“I wish Nykaa the very best for the growth path ahead and will always be a part of the Nykaa family,” Agarwal said, while commenting on his decision to resign.

“It has been great to be a part of the incredible Nykaa journey thus far. All my learning and experiences to date, have set me up for pursuing different personal growth opportunities in the digital economy and start-up space,” he added.

Falguni Nayar, the chairperson of Nykaa and its founder, praised Agarwal for the “important role” he played in the start-transformation up’s into a publicly traded organisation. Even though we were sorry to see him go, she continued, “we are aware of his personal goals and wish him luck.”
