Jyoti Structures has received approval from the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), New Delhi, for its appeal against a previous order by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai. The NCLAT’s order, dated 26th May 2026, pertains to the release and disbursal of non-fund-based limits to the company.
The NCLAT has directed that Jyoti Structures can request the release or disbursal of these limits from the appellant banks. The banks are expected to cooperate and respond to the company’s request within one month of receiving it. This decision follows an order dated 16th February 2026, by the NCLT, which Jyoti Structures had appealed against.
Furthermore, the NCLAT has granted Jyoti Structures the liberty to revive its contempt application before the NCLT if the company is dissatisfied with the response from the appellant banks.
