Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) has entered into two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with (India) Limited, marking a significant collaboration in the areas of redevelopment and asset monetisation. The agreements were signed on 11th April 2026.

The first MoU focuses on the redevelopment of a leasehold plot measuring approximately 18,830 square metres at Block No. 25, August Kranti Bhawan, Bhikaji Cama Place, . The collaboration will involve a techno-economic feasibility study, construction and project management, and the monetisation of built-up space. This initiative is aimed at enhancing the utilisation of the property, with HUDCO and NBCC jointly working towards its effective implementation.

The second MoU pertains to asset monetisation activities for NBCC’s self-sustainable model projects. Under this agreement, HUDCO, with the permission of the Government of India, will provide funding for ongoing and upcoming projects under NBCC’s self-sustainable model. NBCC will offer project management and consultancy services, ensuring the successful execution of these projects.

The agreements underscore a strategic partnership between HUDCO and NBCC, leveraging their respective strengths to achieve mutual goals. The MoUs are set to remain valid for two years from the date of execution, with provisions for annual review. Either party may terminate the agreement by providing one month’s written notice in advance.
