Godawari Power and Ispat has reported its highest-ever production figures in iron ore mining and value-added steel products for the financial year 2025-26. The company achieved significant production volumes across various segments, marking a notable increase from the previous fiscal year.
In the iron ore mining segment, the company produced 27.49 lakh metric tons in FY26, up from 23.42 lakh metric tons in FY25. The production of iron ore pellets also saw an increase, reaching 28.56 lakh metric tons compared to 24.49 lakh metric tons in the previous year.
The company’s production of sponge iron (DRI) increased to 6.50 lakh metric tons from 5.94 lakh metric tons, while steel billets production was slightly down at 4.77 lakh metric tons compared to 4.88 lakh metric tons in FY25. Wire rods production rose to 2.31 lakh metric tons from 2.24 lakh metric tons, and HB wires production increased marginally to 1.01 lakh metric tons from 1.00 lakh metric tons.
Additionally, Godawari Power and Ispat generated 86.58 crore units of power in FY26, up from 83.45 crore units in the previous fiscal year.
