Dentsu-owned media agency Carat India announced the appointment of their new CEO Sanchayeeta Verma on Wednesday. Verma will be reporting to Anita Kotwani, CEO Media, South Asia division for Dentsu.
The company in its announcement said that Sanchayeeta will be based in Bangalore and will undertake the process of boosting the agency’s growth trajectory through strategic leadership. Verma will be overlooking mentoring the agency’s talent pool, leading new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships through operational excellence. Verma will be contributing towards alignment with networks’ global propositions and enhancing the revenue streams of the agency in India.
“Verma’s expertise in consumer research, business planning and client leadership has kept her top of the media landscape. She is also dedicated to lifelong learning and staying ahead of the curve, making her an ideal candidate for this position.” Kotwani said while announcing Verma’s entry.
She also added how recently Carat won leading brands such as Tata Neu, Tata Chroma, Hero Vida and Times Pro and Sanchayeeta will expand the Carat brand to the forefront of the Indian Market.

Verma holds an extensive experience of 27 years in advertising, media and marketing industries. She worked in senior management positions with firms like GroupM’s Mindshare & Wavemaker. She also contributed in a diverse range of categories such as FMCG, durables, telecom, finance, retail e-commerce, fashion and lifestyle with leading firms like ITC, Titan Company Ltd, Google, Tata Global Beverages, Myntra, Wipro Consumer Care, Nestle, GSK, Motorola, Kellogg’s, Ford, ICICI, Castrol, DTC, Nike, PepsiCo, and others.
