Cyient has announced significant changes in its top management, with Shrinivas Kulkarni set to take over as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Prabhakar Atla transitioning to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) starting 1 April 2026. This organisational shift follows the company’s previous intimation dated 3 March 2026.
Shrinivas Kulkarni, who has been appointed as the CFO, brings extensive experience in finance, having led various functions such as Corporate Finance, Business Finance, Treasury, Taxation, M&A, and Investor Relations. Before this appointment, he served as the CFO of Cyient DLM Limited, a subsidiary of Cyient, where he played a pivotal role in overseeing the company’s IPO in 2023. Kulkarni is recognised for driving financial and operational efficiency, corporate governance, business partnering, cost management, cash conversion, and margin improvement, all aimed at accelerating growth and creating value for shareholders. He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India and has completed Global Leadership Programs at Wharton and ISB, Hyderabad.
Prabhakar Atla, the outgoing CFO, will assume the role of COO. Atla has nearly 30 years of Business and P&L Leadership experience, particularly in Technology and Engineering sectors. His expertise spans multiple industry segments, including Communications, Semiconductor, Energy, Aerospace & Defense, Industrial, Consumer, and Rail, across various geographies. Atla holds a master’s degree in business administration from Andhra University and has completed the ISB-Kellogg Global Advanced Management Programme from the Indian School of Business and the Kellogg School of Management.
These appointments are in line with the terms of their respective employment agreements and reflect Cyient’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team to drive future growth and innovation.
