Welspun Specialty Solutions Limited has officially secured a major purchase contract from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Trichy, solidifying its position as a leading supplier in the stainless steel industry. This contract, valued at ₹231.78 crore (excluding GST), involves the supply of approximately 4,050 tons of stainless steel seamless boiler tubes for multiple supercritical thermal power projects.
The announcement follows the earlier notification on March 4, 2025, where Welspun was identified as the L1 bidder for this prestigious project. The execution of this contract will take place progressively over the next 13 months, with completion expected by April 2026.
This deal, secured through a competitive bidding process, highlights Welspun’s expertise in delivering high-quality stainless steel solutions for critical industrial applications. It is a regular business transaction conducted at arm’s length and does not fall under related party transactions.
In the meantime, Welspun Specialty Solutions’ shares closed at ₹29.35 on Tuesday, after opening at ₹29.74. The stock hit a high of ₹29.74 and a low of ₹29.00 during the session. Its 52-week high stands at ₹55.52, while the 52-week low is ₹28.50.
