Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL) has announced the receipt of a Letter of Award (LOA) from its promoter company, Waaree Energies Limited, for the execution of a ground-mount solar power project. The contract includes Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services along with Operation and Maintenance (O&M) for a capacity of 170 MW AC / 255 MW DC.
The order, valued at approximately Rs 232.3 crore excluding taxes, is a commercial domestic contract and is scheduled to be executed in the financial year 2025-26. The project will be developed on a turnkey basis, ensuring complete end-to-end responsibility by WRTL.
Waaree Energies, being the promoter of Waaree Renewable Technologies, makes this a related party transaction. The company has clarified that the transaction is being conducted at arm’s length, following regulatory guidelines.
This project adds to WRTL’s growing portfolio and reinforces its position in India’s rapidly expanding renewable energy sector.
