Waaree Energies has recently informed exchanges that its subsidiary, Waaree Forever Energies Private Limited, has been awarded a Letter of Award (LoA) by Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL) for the development of a 170 MW solar power plant in Madhya Pradesh.
In the exchange filing, Waaree Energie shared, “This is to inform you that Waaree Forever Energies Private Limited a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company has today received Letter of Award (LoA) for the development of 170 MW Solar power plant in Madhya Pradesh, from Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limtied (RUMSL).”
This project will generate and transmit clean energy through the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS), supporting Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Ltd and Indian Railways. The initiative aligns with India’s ambitious renewable energy goals, further promoting sustainable energy development in the country.
In the meantime, Waaree Energies shares closed at ₹3,169.00 today, up from an opening of ₹3,143.00. The stock hit an intraday high of ₹3,231.00 and a low of ₹3,134.65. Currently trading below its 52-week high of ₹3,743.00, it remains significantly above the 52-week low of ₹2,300.00,
