Vikram Solar Ltd, one of India’s leading solar PV module manufacturers, has announced a major order win of 148.9 MW high-efficiency solar modules from Sunsure Energy Pvt. Ltd., a prominent renewable energy solutions provider.
According to the company’s filing with the BSE and NSE dated October 23, 2025, Vikram Solar will supply its M10R N-Type TOPCon modules, each rated at 595 Wp, for projects spread across Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh — two key states driving India’s renewable energy expansion. The order is expected to be completed within 60 days from the Notice to Proceed, anticipated by January 2026.
This win strengthens Vikram Solar’s growing project portfolio, adding to its earlier contracts of 200 MW from AB Energia, 336 MW from L&T Construction, and 326 MW from Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd. The company noted that such deals reinforce its role in helping India move closer to its 500 GW non-fossil fuel capacity target by 2030.
Commenting on the development, Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman and Managing Director of Vikram Solar, said the collaboration underscores India’s clean energy momentum. He added, “We are moving swiftly and decisively toward our national goals, and collaborations like this sustain that progress.”
Meanwhile, Manish Mehta, Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Sunsure Energy, emphasized that the partnership aligns with their mission to provide industries with reliable green energy solutions through solar and advanced battery energy storage systems (BESS).
Headquartered in Kolkata, Vikram Solar operates with a 4.5 GW cumulative production capacity and an international presence across 39 countries. It has been recognized as a Tier-1 solar PV module manufacturer by Bloomberg NEF and a Top Performer in PVEL’s 2025 PV Module Reliability Scorecard.
