
TVS Motor Company reported a robust financial performance for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025, driven by strong sales growth and margin expansion. The company’s revenue from operations rose 17% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹9,550 crore in Q4 FY25 compared to ₹8,169 crore in the same quarter last year. Total income for the quarter stood at ₹9,564.94 crore, up from ₹8,140.17 crore a year ago.
The company posted a significant 75% surge in net profit at ₹852.12 crore for Q4 FY25, compared to ₹485.43 crore in Q4 FY24. Profit before tax (PBT) also grew sharply by 65% YoY to ₹1,111.98 crore from ₹671.63 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Operating EBITDA reached an all-time high of ₹1,333 crore in Q4 FY25, up from ₹926 crore in Q4 FY24. The company’s EBITDA margin stood at 14.0% during the quarter, which included benefits from the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme. Excluding the PLI benefit, the EBITDA margin came in at 12.5%, compared to 11.3% recorded in the same quarter last year.

In terms of operational performance, TVS Motor’s total two-wheeler and three-wheeler sales, including exports, grew 14% YoY to 12.16 lakh units during the quarter. Motorcycle sales rose 10% to 5.64 lakh units, scooter sales surged 27% to 5.02 lakh units, while electric vehicle (EV) sales witnessed an impressive 54% jump to 0.76 lakh units. Three-wheeler sales during the quarter grew 21% to 0.37 lakh units compared to the same period last year.

For the full financial year FY25, TVS Motor posted revenue from operations of ₹36,251 crore, registering a 14% growth from ₹31,776 crore recorded in FY24. Net profit for FY25 came in at ₹2,710.54 crore, up 30% from ₹2,083 crore in FY24. Total annual sales volumes grew 13% to 47.44 lakh units, supported by growth across motorcycles, scooters, electric vehicles, and three-wheelers.
