Transformers and Rectifiers reports Q2 FY25 results with 83% revenue growth and strong EBITDA increase

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited (TARIL) announced its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2024. The Board of Directors approved the financial results, which have been reviewed by the statutory auditors, reflecting strong growth for the company.

In a stellar second quarter, TARIL reported a consolidated net profit of ₹453 million (₹45.3 crore), a massive surge compared to ₹16 million (₹1.6 crore) in Q2 FY24. This represents a year-on-year increase of 2712%, highlighting the company’s remarkable financial recovery and operational efficiency.

Revenue and Profit Growth Surge

The company’s revenue also saw a significant jump, reaching ₹473 crore in Q2 FY25, compared to ₹258 crore in Q2 FY24, registering an 83% year-over-year increase. Sequentially, revenue grew by 45% from ₹326 crore reported in Q1 FY25, showcasing TARIL’s strong business momentum.

On the profit side, TARIL posted a quarterly profit of ₹46 crore in Q2 FY25, compared to just ₹1.6 crore a year earlier—a whopping 2712% rise year-on-year. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, profit jumped 130% from ₹20 crore in Q1 FY25.
