TCS partners with ICICI Securities to modernize retail trading platform with TCS BaNCS

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced a strategic partnership with ICICI Securities to overhaul and upgrade its retail trading and brokerage platform using the TCS BaNCS™ solution suite. The announcement, made via an exchange filing on April 22, 2025, underscores TCS’s continued focus on digital transformation in the financial services space.

The partnership will see TCS deploy its industry-leading trading solution to enhance performance, scalability, and user experience for millions of ICICI Securities’ customers. The new solution is expected to boost order management, exchange connectivity (BSE, NSE, MCX), risk management, clearing, settlement, and customer management capabilities.

TCS, which processes nearly 30% of India’s retail trading volume, said the initiative would integrate cloud readiness and advanced scalability into the system, supporting its broader vision of driving technological transformation in India’s capital markets ecosystem.

The company recently reported consolidated revenues exceeding $30 billion for FY25, reinforcing its position as a global leader in IT services and digital transformation.
