Syrma SGS Technology Limited has officially begun groundwork for its new state-of-the-art PCB manufacturing facility in the Naidupeta Industrial Zone of Andhra Pradesh. The company confirmed the development in a press release filed with the stock exchanges on December 1, 2025.
The project is being implemented through its subsidiary, Syrma Strategic Electronics Pvt. Ltd., and is designed to manufacture a wide range of printed circuit boards, including single-layer and multi-layer variants. According to the release, the facility will strengthen the company’s contribution to India’s fast-growing electronics manufacturing ecosystem.
The new plant is expected to generate over 1,000 direct jobs, supporting local talent and contributing to Naidupeta’s rise as an emerging industrial hub.
To enhance its technological capabilities, Syrma SGS has entered into a joint venture with South Korea’s Shinhyup Electronics (SH Electronics Ltd.), a company known for its strong expertise in PCB engineering. The collaboration aims to combine Shinhyup’s global precision with India’s growing manufacturing ecosystem, positioning the facility for higher competitiveness.
Commenting on the development, Managing Director J S Gujral said the company has always believed in India’s potential to become a global force in high-precision electronics, adding that the new plant represents a major step in that direction. He highlighted the importance of aggressive investment and the role such projects play in supporting the broader ecosystem.
With the groundwork now underway, the Naidupeta facility is set to become an important manufacturing anchor for Syrma SGS as it moves toward building a fully integrated, next-generation electronics production ecosystem in India.
