
Swan Energy reported a significant year-on-year (YoY) and quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) surge in financial performance for the third quarter of FY25, with a sharp rise in profitability.
The company’s revenue increased 20% YoY, reaching ₹1,908 crore in Q3 FY25, compared to ₹1,591 crore in Q3 FY24. On a sequential basis, revenue saw a dramatic 85% rise, up from ₹1,032 crore in Q2 FY25.
Profit before tax (PBT) rose sharply to ₹1,107 crore in Q3 FY25, compared to ₹234 crore in Q3 FY24, primarily due to a higher other expense component of ₹725 crore. Sequentially, PBT saw an exponential rise from ₹57 crore in the previous quarter.
The company’s net profit (PAT) more than doubled YoY, reaching ₹561 crore in Q3 FY25, up from ₹220 crore in Q3 FY24. On a QoQ basis, PAT surged sharply from ₹67 crore in Q2 FY25.
Earnings per share (EPS) also saw strong growth, increasing to ₹18.72 in Q3 FY25, compared to ₹8.38 in Q3 FY24 and ₹2.28 in Q2 FY25.
The robust financial performance was driven by higher revenues, improved operational efficiencies, and increased other income components.
