Suzlon Energy Limited announced on Tuesday that it has bagged its largest order of FY26, securing an 838 MW wind project from Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL). This order also marks Suzlon’s second-biggest in its history, following the earlier 1,544 MW order from NTPC Green Energy.

The project will involve the supply of 266 units of Suzlon’s S144 wind turbines, each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. These turbines will be strategically installed across Karnataka (302 MW), Maharashtra (271 MW), and Tamil Nadu (265 MW). The contract falls under the Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) projects awarded to SJVN and NTPC.

Company officials emphasized that this order strengthens Suzlon’s long-standing partnership with Tata Power Renewable, which has spanned over a decade and now includes three repeat orders. The collaboration is expected to accelerate India’s transition to 24/7 clean energy, powered by indigenous technology.

The Pune-based company highlighted that its “Made in India” wind solutions will ensure reliability, efficiency, and seamless integration with India’s One Grid system.
