SpiceJet announced on Monday, October 6, 2025, that it will launch special daily non-stop Diwali flights connecting Ayodhya with Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad starting October 8. The airline stated that these flights will allow devotees and tourists easy access to the Shri Ram Temple during the festive season.
Flights from Mumbai are also under consideration to enhance connectivity during the upcoming winter and festive rush.
Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer of SpiceJet, said, “There could be no better occasion than Diwali to visit Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram. We are delighted to make travel to the holy city easier and more convenient for devotees and tourists alike. Our new daily flights from key metros will ensure smooth and affordable access to Ayodhya during Diwali.”
This move strengthens SpiceJet’s domestic network and reaffirms its commitment to making festive travel more convenient and affordable.
The announcement comes as demand for religious and festival-oriented routes surges ahead of Diwali.
