Solar Industries has released its financial results for the second quarter of FY25, reporting robust growth in revenue but facing challenges in cost management.
Key Financial Highlights for Q2 FY25:
- Revenue from Operations: The company’s revenue from operations for Q2 FY25 was ₹1,715.83 crore, showcasing a year-over-year (YoY) growth of 27.3% compared to ₹1,347.46 crore in Q2 FY24. Sequentially, revenue increased by 1.9% from ₹1,684.80 crore in Q1 FY25.
- Total Income: Including other income, the total income for Q2 FY25 was ₹1,746.28 crore, a 28.8% YoY increase from ₹1,355.18 crore in the same period last year, and a 2.1% QoQ growth from ₹1,709.05 crore in Q1 FY25.
- Profit Before Tax (PBT): Profit before tax for Q2 FY25 stood at ₹406.97 crore, reflecting a significant YoY increase of 43% from ₹284.53 crore in Q2 FY24. QoQ, PBT showed a marginal decline of 0.6% from ₹408.29 crore in Q1 FY25.
- Net Profit: The net profit for Q2 FY25 was ₹303.78 crore, up 45.6% YoY from ₹208.99 crore in Q2 FY24. However, on a sequential basis, it slightly declined by 0.9% from ₹306.54 crore in Q1 FY25.
