Silver Touch Technologies Limited has received a purchase order from the Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC) for the enhancement, operation, maintenance and technical support of the CM-KISAN portal under the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment.
The project involves the comprehensive modernisation and long-term management of the CM-KISAN farmer benefit platform, a key digital infrastructure used to support agricultural welfare schemes and facilitate direct benefit transfers to farmers across the state.
The CM-KISAN platform plays a significant role in enabling the seamless delivery of financial assistance and welfare benefits to farmers. Under this engagement, Silver Touch Technologies will work on strengthening the digital backbone of farmer-centric welfare schemes while improving integration with both national and state-level agricultural databases.
The initiative is also expected to enhance transparency, accuracy and traceability in the distribution of benefits. In addition, the upgraded system will support real-time data-driven decision-making for agricultural governance, enabling more efficient implementation and monitoring of welfare schemes.
