SG Mart has taken a significant step into the renewable energy space, marking its entry with the supply of solar module mounting structures to multiple independent power producers (IPPs) across India. The company has secured cumulative orders worth ₹266 crore (excluding GST), underlining its growing presence in the green energy ecosystem.
These orders have been awarded by various domestic entities, all of which are engaged in solar power generation. The scope of work involves the supply of solar module mounting structures, a critical component used to support solar panels in utility-scale and industrial solar power projects. The deliveries are expected to be completed during the financial year 2025-26, aligning with the project timelines of the respective IPPs.
SG Mart confirmed that none of the entities awarding the contracts are related parties, and there is no promoter or group company interest in them. This ensures that the contracts are purely commercial in nature and are conducted at arm’s length.
