
Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for the development, creation, upgradation, and operation & maintenance of the middle-mile network under the Bharat Net initiative worth Rs 9613.42 crore. The project will be executed under the Design Build Operate and Maintain (DBOM) model.

- Nature of Contract: Development, creation, upgradation, and operation of the middle-mile network for Bharat Net on DBOM Model.
- Contract Duration: 3 years for construction, followed by 10 years of maintenance with a capped percentage of the capital expenditure.
- Contract Value: ₹9613.42 Crore (Rupees Nine Thousand Six Hundred Thirteen Crore Forty-Two Lakh Seventy-Two Thousand Eight Hundred Forty-Nine and Paisa Thirty-Seven Only).
The project will be executed in collaboration with consortium partners HFCL and ATS. This contract highlights RVNL’s role in improving India’s digital infrastructure, supporting the government’s efforts to enhance connectivity nationwide.
