RITES Limited, a leading transport infrastructure consultancy and engineering firm, has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from Tsiko Africa Logistics (Pty) Limited, an international entity, for the supply, commissioning, and one-year onsite warranty of overhauled Cape Gauge 3100 HP diesel-electric locomotives.
The total contract value is $4.28 million, and the project is expected to be completed within six months, followed by a one-year onsite warranty. This international contract solidifies RITES’ global presence in the locomotive industry, enhancing its portfolio in the African market.
The contract involves no related party transactions, and neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the entity awarding the contract.
