Amid increasing volatility in global energy markets, Reliance Industries has announced steps to strengthen domestic fuel availability and support India’s energy security. The company said it is taking proactive measures to maximize the production of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from its refining and petrochemicals complexes in Jamnagar, ensuring uninterrupted supply for Indian households.

The company stated that its teams are working continuously to optimize refinery operations and increase LPG output from the Jamnagar complex, which is widely recognized as the world’s largest integrated refining hub. By enhancing production, Reliance aims to maintain stable and reliable supplies of cooking fuel to the domestic market at a time when global energy dynamics remain uncertain.

Reliance Industries also said that natural gas produced from the KG-D6 Basin will be diverted to support supply to priority sectors. The company noted that the allocation of gas will be carried out in line with national energy priorities and government guidelines to ensure that critical industries and sectors continue to receive adequate fuel supplies.

According to the company, ensuring India’s energy security and safeguarding the well-being of millions of households remains a key priority. Reliance reiterated that it will continue to work closely with the Government of India and remain fully compliant with national guidelines and allocation policies so that essential fuels reach the sectors and communities that need them the most.
