RCF begins commercial production at new 425 MTPD AN melt plant in Trombay

Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCF), a leading public sector enterprise under the Government of India, has commenced commercial production at its new AN Melt Plant in Trombay. The plant, which has a capacity of 425 metric tons per day (MTPD), became operational effective February 4, 2025.

The Ammonium Nitrate (AN) Melt Plant is a significant addition to RCF’s production capabilities at its Trombay unit, further bolstering its role in India’s chemical and fertilizer industry. This new facility is expected to enhance output efficiency and meet increasing domestic demand for ammonium nitrate-based products.
