RailTel secures Rs 25.15 crore order from Hindustan Petroleum for MPLS/ILL link services

RailTel Corporation of India has announced that it has received a major work order from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) valued at Rs 25.15 crore (excluding taxes). The order pertains to the renewal and provisioning of MPLS/ILL (Multi-Protocol Label Switching/Internet Leased Line) links for a period of five years, from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2030.

According to the official stock exchange filing dated March 23, 2025, this is a domestic rate contract, covering both renewal of existing links and the installation of new connections, subject to feasibility. The order was received on March 22, 2025, at 8:10 PM.

The contract involves the deployment and management of MPLS and ILL services across HPCL’s infrastructure, aimed at ensuring secure and high-speed data connectivity. The project will be executed by RailTel across HPCL’s operational network in India.

RailTel clarified that there is no promoter or related party involvement in the order and that the transaction is not a related party one.

This new order strengthens RailTel’s position as a leading provider of telecom infrastructure and managed services to government and enterprise clients, further expanding its portfolio of long-term service contracts in the public sector.
