Oswal Pumps Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Oswal Solar Energy Private Limited, has secured an order worth ₹39.40 crore (inclusive of GST) for the supply, installation, and commissioning of 7.46 MWp grid-connected rooftop solar systems. The contract has been awarded by M/s Swashakthi Energy and marks the company’s formal entry into the rooftop solar segment.

The development positions Oswal Pumps to participate under the Government of India’s flagship rooftop solar initiative, PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, which aims to promote distributed solar energy adoption across households in the country.

M/s Swashakthi Energy was awarded 7.46 MWp of Grid-Connected Rooftop Solar (RTS) projects by New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd. under the Surya Ghar scheme. As part of this allocation, Swashakthi Energy has assigned Oswal Solar Energy Private Limited for execution of the project.

The scope of work includes complete design, engineering, supply, installation, and commissioning of the 7.46 MWp rooftop solar systems. The order also includes a five-year Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMC), ensuring ongoing operational support and system performance management.
