Oriental Rail Infrastructure secures Rs 2.15 crore order from Indian Railways’ Rail Coach Factory

The order includes nine sets of seats for LHB Non-AC chair car coaches (108-seater) and nine sets of seats for LHB 2nd AC chair car coaches (78-seater). The project is scheduled for completion by May 29, 2025.

Oriental Rail Infrastructure Limited (ORIL), a leading manufacturer in the railway sector, has announced securing an order worth ₹2,15,59,179.64 from the Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala, Indian Railways. This domestic order entails the manufacturing and supply of seating solutions for railway coaches, highlighting ORIL’s expertise in delivering high-quality railway components.

The order includes nine sets of seats for LHB non-AC chair car coaches (108-seater) and nine sets of seats for LHB 2nd AC chair car coaches (78-seater). The project is scheduled for completion by May 29, 2025. Payment terms include the release of 95% of the amount upon submission of an inspection certificate from the nominated agency and proof of dispatch, with the remaining 5% paid after receipt, inspection, and acceptance of goods by RCF.

Oriental Rail Infrastructure Limited confirmed that the transaction is not classified as a related party deal, and no promoter or group companies have any direct interest in the awarding entity. This order reflects ORIL’s strategic alignment with Indian Railways’ goals and reinforces its reputation as a trusted partner in the rail infrastructure domain.
