Oriental Rail Infrastructure Limited has secured a significant order worth ₹4.94 crore from the Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, a key unit of Indian Railways. This order involves the supply and installation of 47 sets of Second AC Chair Car coach seats, complete with fixing arrangements.
In the exchange filing, the company shared, “We wish to inform you that Oriental Rail Infrastructure Limited has secured order worth Rs. 4,94,14,860/- (Rupees Four Crore Ninety Four Lakh Fourteen Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty only) from Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, Indian Railways.”
The contract specifies that deliveries will be made to the Furnishing Depot at ICF Chennai. Payment terms are structured in two stages—90% of the supply portion will be processed upon proof of inspection and receipt certificates, while the remaining 10%, along with full installation charges, will be cleared after successful installation and acceptance by the designated authority.
As a domestic contract, this deal further strengthens Oriental Rail Infrastructure’s position in the railway sector. The execution timeline for the order extends until December 31, 2026, highlighting a steady workflow and business growth for the company.
