ONGC Q2 FY25 Results: ONGC declares interim dividend of ₹6 per Share for FY 2024-25

The Board of Directors of ONGC has declared a first interim dividend at the rate of ₹6 per equity share, representing 120% of the face value of ₹5 per share, for the financial year 2024-25. The record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders to receive this dividend has been set for Wednesday, November 20, 2024.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) posted a strong financial performance in Q2 FY25, with both revenue and profits showing sequential growth. Standalone revenue reached ₹33,880.88 crore, up 7.4% from ₹35,266.38 crore in Q1. Total income rose to ₹38,646.52 crore from ₹37,327.27 crore.

Profit before tax increased by 25.7% to ₹15,036 crore, while net profit surged by 34% to ₹11,984.02 crore. The net profit margin improved to 35.37%, highlighting ONGC’s operational efficiency. Comprehensive income for the quarter climbed to ₹14,438.42 crore, compared to ₹9,617.91 crore in Q1.
