NLC India has reported its Q2 FY25 results, showing a 22.8% year-on-year (YoY) increase in revenue, which stood at ₹3,657.27 crore, compared to ₹2,977.53 crore in the same quarter last year. However, the company’s net profit declined by 9.5% YoY, coming in at ₹982.41 crore, down from ₹1,085.93 crore in Q2 FY24.
For the half-year ended September 30, 2024, the company’s revenue totaled ₹7,033.32 crore, while the net profit stood at ₹1,549.10 crore.
The decline in net profit, despite revenue growth, suggests rising operational costs or other challenges that impacted profitability during the quarter.
