Mahindra & Mahindra expands international farm equipment footprint with new subsidiary in Thailand

Mahindra & Mahindra Limited has announced the incorporation of a new step-down subsidiary company, Mahindra South East Asia Limited (MSEAL), in Thailand. The new subsidiary, incorporated on October 8, 2024, is a part of Mahindra Overseas Investment Company (Mauritius) Ltd. (MOICML), which is wholly owned by Mahindra & Mahindra.

MSEAL has been established with an authorized share capital of THB 100,000, with MOICML subscribing to 99.98% of the share capital. The remaining shares are held by individual nominee shareholders on behalf of MOICML. The newly incorporated entity will focus on selling tractors, farm equipment, and related implements in Thailand.

This strategic move aligns with Mahindra & Mahindra’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the international farm equipment sector. By establishing MSEAL, Mahindra aims to strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia and capitalize on the growing demand for agricultural machinery in the region.
