Laxmi Organic Industries has announced key leadership changes following the outcome of its board meeting held on Friday, April 10. The company confirmed the resignation of its Chief Financial Officer and outlined interim and future arrangements for the role.
As per the filing, Chief Financial Officer Mahadeo Karnik has stepped down from his position and will be relieved from his duties at the close of business hours on April 13, 2026. The board acknowledged his contributions and placed on record its appreciation for his tenure with the company.
Following this development, the company has appointed Harshvardhan Goenka, Executive Director, as the Interim Chief Financial Officer. His appointment will come into effect from the start of business hours on April 14, 2026, and will continue until a permanent replacement assumes office.
The company also confirmed that it has already identified a successor for the CFO position. The new appointee is tentatively expected to join on June 15, 2026. The proposal for the appointment will be placed before the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, Audit Committee, and the Board in upcoming meetings.

He has been part of the board since November 2020 and has played a role in shaping the company’s strategic direction.
