Larsen & Toubro’s PT&D division secures large orders worth upto Rs 5,000 crore in India and Middle East

Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) vertical has secured significant new orders in India and the Middle East, reinforcing its leadership in the power sector.

In India, L&T has been awarded a project to implement an Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) in West Bengal. This state-of-the-art technology integrates Outage Management and Distribution Management System functionalities, enhancing power distribution by enabling real-time monitoring and control of medium and low voltage networks. The system improves network reliability, enabling faster fault isolation and quicker restoration.

In the Middle East, L&T has won several prestigious orders. These include a 380kV Substation in Saudi Arabia, aimed at facilitating the evacuation of solar energy, and a 400kV Substation order for a major city project in Kuwait. In Dubai, L&T is strengthening the region’s infrastructure by establishing multiple EHV substations, including a 400/132kV Substation, as part of Dubai’s ongoing efforts to enhance its power transmission capabilities and maintain its position as a preferred global destination.
