JSW Energy has issued a statement clarifying its position regarding recent media reports about a gas release incident at its Ratnagiri thermal power plant in Maharashtra. The company has categorically stated that the plant does not have any gas storage facility and is not involved in the reported incident.
This clarification comes after reports surfaced that more than 30 school students were affected by exposure to fumes from a storage tank in the Ratnagiri district on Thursday. The affected students were reportedly taken for medical treatment, and the incident caused significant concern among the local community.
