
Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) explored collaboration opportunities to expedite the nation’s renewable energy development. In a meeting held today, Shri Pradip Kumar Das, CMD, IREDA, and Shri Koppu Sadashiv Murthy, CMD, BHEL, discussed joint efforts to accelerate progress towards India’s ambitious target of 500 GW of non-fossil fuel-based installed capacity by 2030.
The leaders of these major Central Public Sector Enterprises focused on strategies to support the Government of India’s renewable energy goals and emphasized the significance of their collaboration. Shri Rajesh Kumar Dwivedi, Director (Finance), BHEL also attended the meeting and shared his insights during the discussion.
Both organizations reaffirmed their commitment to overcoming challenges in the renewable energy sector and contributing to a cleaner and greener India.
