Indian Hume Pipe sells Bengaluru land for Rs 559 crore to Godrej SSPDL Green Acres LLP

Indian Hume Pipe Company Limited has finalized the sale of its freehold land in Venkatala Village, Yelahanka, Bengaluru, for a total consideration of ₹559 crore. The deal, executed on March 21, 2025, was sealed with M/s. Godrej SSPDL Green Acres LLP, marking a significant financial transaction for the company.

The land parcel spans approximately 40,875.668 square meters (4,39,982 sq. ft.), and the entire sale consideration has been received by the company. This sale does not involve any business unit, subsidiary, or associate company and is not classified as a related-party transaction.

Indian Hume Pipe clarified that the land sale does not fall under the “undertaking” or “substantially the whole of the undertaking” category as per Section 180(1)(a) of the Companies Act, 2013. Consequently, the provisions of Regulation 37A of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, do not apply.

This strategic sale is expected to enhance the company’s liquidity, potentially supporting future growth initiatives. The real estate transaction highlights the growing demand for prime land in Bengaluru, a key hub for commercial and residential developments.
