
International Gemmological Institute (India) reported a strong financial performance for the quarter ended March 31, 2025 (Q4 FY25), with both revenue and profit seeing solid year-on-year (YoY) growth.
Quarterly performance (Q4 FY25 vs Q4 FY24):
The company posted a net profit of Rs 140.7 crore in Q4 FY25, marking an 11.6% YoY increase from Rs 126.1 crore reported in the same quarter last year.
Revenue from operations grew to Rs 304.8 crore, up 9.6% YoY compared to Rs 278 crore in Q4 FY24.
Total income stood at Rs 313.2 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 290.4 crore in the year-ago period.
EBITDA and margins:
EBITDA for the quarter stood at Rs 195.5 crore, up 12.6% YoY from Rs 173.7 crore.
EBITDA margin improved to 64% in Q4 FY25 from 62.5% a year ago, reflecting better operating efficiency.
Tax and profitability:
Tax expenses surged to Rs 50.7 crore compared to Rs 45 crore in Q4 FY24.
Profit before tax for the quarter rose to Rs 191.5 crore, compared to Rs 171.1 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Annual overview (FY25):
For the full financial year FY25, the company reported total revenue of Rs 1,053.2 crore, and a net profit of Rs 427.2 crore.
