Hinduja Global Solutions Q3 Results: Revenue falls 11.6% YoY to Rs 1064.05 crore, Net Loss of 8.59 crore

Hinduja Global Solutions Limited (HGS) announced its Q3 FY25 financial results, reporting a net loss of Rs 8.59 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024, as against a profit of Rs 43.25 crore in Q3 FY24, marking a significant decline in profitability.

The company’s revenue from operations stood at Rs 1,064.05 crore, down from Rs 1,203.67 crore in Q3 FY24, reflecting a YoY decline in top-line performance. However, total income, including other income, came in at Rs 1,234.87 crore, compared to Rs 1,294.91 crore in the previous quarter (Q2 FY25).

On the expense front, total expenditure stood at Rs 1,193.61 crore, marginally lower than the Rs 1,278.71 crore recorded in Q3 FY24. Notably, employee benefits expense was Rs 618.45 crore, down from Rs 656.94 crore YoY, while other expenses stood at Rs 367.74 crore, compared to Rs 421.27 crore in Q3 FY24.

The company reported a profit before tax (PBT) of Rs 41.26 crore, a decline from Rs 69.07 crore in Q3 FY24. However, after accounting for an income tax expense of Rs 49.85 crore, the firm posted a net loss of Rs 8.59 crore from continuing operations.

For the nine-month period ending December 31, 2024, HGS reported total income of Rs 3,661.04 crore, up from Rs 3,829.93 crore YoY, while the net loss stood at Rs 116.13 crore, compared to a profit of Rs 43.25 crore in the same period last year.

The company’s overall financial performance has been under pressure due to rising operational expenses and declining revenue. Investors will be closely monitoring its future strategies to return to profitability.
