RR Kabel Limited has disclosed that the Joint Commissioner (ST) Intelligence, Tiruppur Division, Tamil Nadu, has initiated action under Section 67(2) of the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 at one of its warehouses in Coimbatore.
According to the regulatory filing, the company received an authorization in Form GST INS-01 dated March 26, 2025, for action at its warehouse located at Door No. 1/30-5, Survey No 206/3B, Tirichy Road, Lakshmi Nagar, Kannampalayam, Coimbatore.
The nature of the proceedings involves a search and inspection process as permitted under the GST Act. However, no specific violations or contraventions have been cited so far, and the company has stated that it is fully cooperating with the authorities, providing all required details, clarifications, and information.
RR Kabel also clarified that there is no material impact on its financial, operational, or other business activities at this stage.
