Godrej Properties Limited (GPL) has announced the acquisition of a 26-acre land parcel in South Bengaluru, located near Sarjapur Road, one of the city’s fastest-growing residential hubs.
The company plans to develop a premium residential project on the site, with an estimated revenue potential of around Rs 1,100 crore, according to its official statement.
This acquisition reinforces Godrej Properties’ focus on the Sarjapur corridor, a location known for strong housing demand and connectivity to major employment hubs such as Whitefield, Outer Ring Road, and Electronic City. The area’s proximity to leading schools, hospitals, and retail centers continues to drive buyer interest.
The company already has a presence in this micro-market with successful projects like Godrej Park Retreat and Godrej Lakeside Orchards, both of which have seen strong customer response.
Commenting on the development, Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO, Godrej Properties, said that the acquisition underscores the company’s commitment to expanding its footprint in Bengaluru’s high-demand residential clusters, focusing on “thoughtfully designed, high-quality developments that create lasting value”.
