
Epic Energy Limited has officially commenced commercial production of EV chargers at its Coimbatore-based manufacturing facility as of February 10, 2025. The state-of-the-art facility, operating under Epic EV Chargers Pvt Ltd (EEVCPL), is set to manufacture a wide range of AC and DC chargers, with capacities between 3.3 kWh and 60 kWh under the RapidEVChargE brand. EEVCPL boasts an installed annual capacity of 15,000 chargers.
Epic Energy holds a 76% equity stake in the venture, with the remaining 24% owned by Fenfeo Automation Pvt Ltd. The company’s strategic direction aims to target both domestic and global markets.
Epic Energy’s Group CFO, Mr. Nikhil Morsawala, shared the company’s global ambitions, emphasizing the “Make in India, Make for the World” vision, while Ms. Priya Joshi, Director of Epic, highlighted the company’s plan to integrate solar charging solutions.
This step is a part of the company’s ongoing commitment to driving sustainable electric mobility across India and internationally.
