EaseMyTrip’s spiritual tourism initiative, EasyDarshan, has inaugurated the Theerth Yatri Sewa Booth at Lata Mangeshkar Chowk in Ayodhya. This collaboration with the Ayodhya Development Authority aims to enhance the pilgrimage experience for visitors while creating employment opportunities for local youth.
The booth offers various services, including guidance for temple visits, bookings for Sugam Darshan and special aarti arrangements, and wheelchair accessibility. Additionally, EasyDarshan is addressing Ayodhya’s growing accommodation needs by supporting the development of homestays, providing affordable lodging options for pilgrims.
The initiative focuses on empowering local communities by training local youth as “Theerth Sevaks,” ensuring they are equipped to assist pilgrims with cultural and spiritual insights. Speaking on the initiative, Ayodhya Development Authority Vice Chairman Shri Ashwini Kumar Pandey highlighted the shared vision of transforming Ayodhya into a globally recognized spiritual destination.
EaseMyTrip co-founder Rikant Pittie expressed pride in contributing to Ayodhya’s growth as a welcoming pilgrimage hub, emphasizing the initiative’s role in making spiritual journeys seamless and enriching. This collaboration reflects the company’s commitment to sustainable tourism and community development.
