Diamond Power Infrastructure launches commercial production of one Medium Voltage extrusion line at Vadodara plant

Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited has launched commercial production of a new Medium Voltage (MV) extrusion line, capable of producing 175 km of MV cables monthly. With three operational lines already in place, the company plans to add six more by September 2025, totaling nine lines at a single location. This expansion will boost monthly production capacity from 600 km to 1,350 km, catering to the rising demand for MV cables.

MV cables, designed for voltages between 1 kV and 36 kV, are essential for power distribution, industrial installations, and renewable energy projects like solar and wind farms. Known for their safety, durability, and efficiency, MV cables are a critical component in transmitting electricity across substations, transformers, and end-user applications.
