Constronics Infra Limited has announced the signing of a term sheet with Shimato Enterprises Private Limited for the development, operation, and maintenance of a 21 MW solar power project in Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu. The project aligns with the Government of India’s commitment to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2070.
Shimato Enterprises will act as the turnkey contractor, responsible for design, supply, installation, and maintenance of the solar power project. The agreement also includes Shimato’s involvement in acquiring the necessary land for the project. This collaboration underscores Constronics Infra’s strategic entry into the solar power sector, leveraging abundant opportunities in renewable energy.
The transaction has been structured as an arm’s length agreement, with no involvement of the promoter group or related party interests. The project timelines and further details will be formalized in definitive documents to be executed between the parties.
