Ceinsys Tech Limited has announced the receipt of a significant Letter of Award from the State Water and Sanitation Mission (SWSM), Water Supply and Sanitation Department (WSSD), Government of Maharashtra. The contract, valued at ₹331.61 crore, is for the appointment of System Integrators (SIs) for the deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) technology, including design, implementation, and maintenance with a centralized IoT platform for Jal Jeevan Mission projects in Maharashtra for Phase II.
In an official communication to the Bombay Stock Exchange, Ceinsys Tech disclosed that the contract involves the deployment of IoT solutions to enhance the efficiency and monitoring of water supply and sanitation services under the Jal Jeevan Mission. The project is slated for a two-year implementation period, followed by a five-year operations and maintenance phase.
The award from SWSM, a domestic entity under the Government of Maharashtra, emphasizes the importance of advanced technological solutions in public utilities. Ceinsys Tech’s role will include comprehensive system integration to ensure seamless implementation and sustainable operations of the IoT platform.
The contract, which amounts to ₹331.61 crore, reflects the company’s growing expertise and presence in the IoT and smart infrastructure sector. Ceinsys Tech confirmed that this transaction does not involve any related party interests and is conducted independently.
