Ceigall India has recently informed exchanges that its subsidiary, Ceigall Malout Abohar Sadhuwali Highway Private Limited, has officially received the Completion Certificate for its major highway development project in Punjab. The certificate, issued by the Highway Engineering Consultant on 5 December 2025, declares the project fit for commercial operations effective 11 November 2025.
This project, which involves four-laning the Malout–Abohar–Sadhuwali stretch under the Bharatmala Pariyojana, comes with a bid project cost of ₹918 crore and was executed on the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM). What makes the achievement more notable is that the work reached pre-COD status 214 days ahead of its scheduled completion timeline, showcasing execution efficiency across the entire stretch.
The construction involved upgrading a 65 km section spanning NH-07 and NH-62. The appointed date for the project was 6 January 2022, while the targeted completion date was set for June 2023. With the successful handover and commercial operations clearance, the project is now part of Ceigall’s expanding portfolio of operational HAM assets, as also highlighted in its Red Herring Prospectus.
The order was awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), and all terms of the contract fall under domestic jurisdiction. Ceigall clarified that neither the promoter group nor related entities hold any interest in the awarding authority, and the contract does not fall under related-party transactions.
