Speaking at the event, M R Jaishankar, Executive Trustee of Brigade Foundation, expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration, stating, “This initiative started during the COVID-19 pandemic with the establishment of a healthcare centre in 2020. The overwhelming response to that facility led to the need for a full-fledged hospital.” He noted that Brigade Foundation provided the land and air-conditioned building at no cost to St. John’s, with the hospital being equipped to offer affordable healthcare to the community.

The hospital offers a wide range of medical specialties, including cardiology, neonatology, nephrology, neurology, urology, and more. It is equipped with modern diagnostic tools and provides laboratory, blood storage, dietetics, physiotherapy, pharmacy, and ambulance services.

Brigade Foundation also announced plans for another 108-bed hospital in Bengaluru North at Hardware Park, continuing its mission to enhance healthcare access for underserved communities in the city.

Rev. Fr. Jesudoss R, Director of St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, highlighted the institution’s long-standing commitment to affordable healthcare, stating, “This hospital is a sign of service, where healing meets humanity.”
